Coming in version 1.6
Tell Siri.
Mango & Dill works with Siri and the Shortcuts app, in English and in German. There is nothing to set up. Every phrase includes the app name, and "Mango" works as a short name too.
What Siri understands
Say "Hey Siri", then one of these phrases.
-
Add items
Siri then asks what to add. You can say several things at once, for example "milk, 500 g flour and two cucumbers".
- "Add something to my Mango & Dill shopping list"
- "Put something on my Mango & Dill list"
-
Read your list
Siri reads out what is still open and shows your list as a card. On iOS 26 you can check items off right there.
- "What's on my Mango & Dill shopping list"
- "Read my Mango & Dill shopping list"
-
Check off an item
Swap milk for whatever just went into your cart. Everyone you share the list with sees the check mark too.
- "Check off milk in Mango & Dill"
-
Today's meal plan
Siri tells you which recipes are on today's meal plan.
- "What's for dinner today in Mango & Dill"
- "What am I cooking today in Mango & Dill"
-
This week's meal plan
Siri shows you the whole week, day by day.
- "What's on my Mango & Dill meal plan this week"
-
Ingredients to your list
Amounts are worked out for 2 servings. You can change the number in the Shortcuts app.
- "Add the ingredients for Shakshuka to my Mango & Dill list"
-
Open a recipe
The recipe opens right in the app. Your recipes also show up in Spotlight search.
- "Open Shakshuka in Mango & Dill"
In the Shortcuts app
All seven commands are already waiting there.
Open the Shortcuts app.
Under "Apps", tap Mango & Dill.
Tap a command to run it. You can also add it to your Home Screen, use it as a step in your own shortcut or put it on the Action button.
Mango & Dill is already here
The Siri commands arrive with version 1.6. Your shopping list, store layout, meal plan and recipes work today.
